Registration of Interest
Express your interest in enrolling your child at St. Peter's C. of E. Primary School by completing the "Registration of Interest Form" below. While this indicates your interest, it does not secure a place for your child; you must also complete the local authority forms for Reception class admissions. For mid-year transfers, contact Wigan Council School Placements. Appeals for in-year transfer denials are addressed within 30 school days. All necessary forms and details are available for download below.
Absence

Parents should note that amendments to the Pupil Registration Regulations (2013) stated that Governing Bodies/Headteachers may not grant any leave of absence during term time unless there are exceptional circumstances.
QUEST Trust will not grant leave of absence for any holidays during term time except for compassionate reasons.

Here at St. Peter's we are very proud of our high attendance figures and extremely low rate of unauthorised absences. We know that we can count on your support in helping us maintain these high standards.
If you have any queries regarding a leave of absence please do not hesitate to contact the office staff.

Our uniform can be purchased from Sportsline, Ashton in Makerfield. Certain items (i.e. skirts/trousers) can also be purchased from other independent retailers.
If you need any support in purchasing any of the uniform requirements, please contact the school office. We also have some pre-loved uniform available.

Our pupils are discouraged from bringing mobile phones or music players to school at a young age. If your child walks home on their own after school and you want them to have a mobile phone for safety, we're here to support. Please bring the phone to the school office in the morning, and we'll ensure they get it back at home time. Remember to label the phone with your child's name for easy identification. Your child's safety is our priority!
